Binibeca is a pleasant, purpose built resort on the south east coast of Menorca fairly close to the capital, Mahon. Built in traditional style, it is rather twee but perfectly suited to those seeking a relaxing break in the sun. The resort stretches along the coast for three kilometres and is divided into three parts. In the east is Cala Torret and in the west is Binibeca Vell, with Binibeca Nou in the middle. The main beach is Cala de Binibeca and there are also several small coves. A road train travels back and forwards along the resort, ideal for tired legs at the end of the day. Attractions in the area include a go-karting track and there is a diving centre in Cala Torret. For a bird's eye view of the island, take a tour in a light aircraft from the local airfield. If you wish to make the most of your holiday and explore a little further, car hire is recommended.
